Apple Orchards

A while back {like two months ago}we went to the

Apple Butter Festival 

just outside of Lubbock,

in Idalou!

Such a fun time! There was lots

going on, a bbq, blow up jumpers

for the kiddos, a farmers market, 

and many other fun things for sale!

at first, a little unsure...

but, then Ethan LOVED the slide!

And now for some of 

my lovely big girls...

After a yummy bbq lunch and playtime

we headed out into the apple orchard to 

pick some yummy apples!

{the owner told Ritchie "we charge by the pound, but you can

eat as many apples as you like out in the orchards!" SO fun!}

 Sophie even joined in on the fun!

 Ethan LOVED picking apples!

 Abby was all about 'eat as many as you want' :)

Emma is my apple lover! 

SO tiny! 

I love that the trees were small enough

for even the tiniest arms to reach! 

of course we had to stop at the tractor!

And the following is a favorite of mine, 

a slow-mo frame by frame, arms spread wide

running at full speed, love in action! 

{two of my fav little girls!}

...finally embracing! 

we are blessed by these two!

Ethan finally talked Daddy in to

 letting him ride the tractor!

We're already looking forward to next years :)
