Happy Trails

Today was such a beautiful day that we

decided to hit the trails of the

Palo Duro Canyon

{Ethan's 1st time to the Canyon!}

He LOVES being outside

We stopped at a lookout first to take it all in

{This was Emma's 1st time to actually appreciate her surroundings}

After the lookout we looked for a good picnic spot

Sweet Ethan is enjoying new foods everyday

After lunch, the girls decided to dig in the dirt for a bit

Then we decided to attempt a hike to a cave

{Yeah, it was a bit nerve racking for

this Momma, but they did great!}

Ethan enjoyed his ride!

On the way down

{funny little guy fell asleep}

He was worn out!

After his quick nap we decided to cool off in the stream

Yep, he's about to eat

mud...

But who hasn't enjoyed a few mud-pies in their day?

The last stop on our adventure was at the

Charles Goodnight dugout house

The girls loved the little dugout

We are looking forward to more warm, sunny days spent

hiking and making memories to last a lifetime :)
