A couple of weeks ago we decided to take a weekend

vacation to Lubbock {can you call it that if it's just to LBK?}

Anyway, here are a few pics from our weekend...

Yesterday we decided it was a perfect afternoon for kite flying...

so we walked over to Memorial Park...

Earlier in the week Ethan turned 10 Months old. Each day we are

blessed to watch our precious baby grow and learn new things,

anxiously awaiting new firsts.

Mommy can't believe how quickly your first year

has come and drawing to a close. Over the past 10 months I have

learned that being a Mommy to such a sweet boy is one of the most

rewarding things that I'll ever do. We are so blessed to have such a happy,

growing {hopefully gaining weight} little boy in our lives. You fill our days

with laughter and joy! We love you Ethan Thomas!

Some New things you are doing:

• Pulling up, standing, considering reaching out to something across from you {no first steps yet, but that is quite alright with this Mommy :) }
• Eating meat {and BOY do you love it}
• Sleeping all thru the night without a 'night-time' feeding
• Clapping joyfully when Emma and Abby clap for you!
• The lastest word you love to say 'NUM-NUM' when you eat something, well, Yummy :)
• Greeting us with a smile when we come get you from your crib {instead of tears}
• Joyfully playing in your room all by your self for long spans of time
• You still gravitate towards ANYTHING electronic...wonder where you get that from...
• You are finally growing into your size 12 month clothes {Yay!}
• Last but not least, you are starting to get a few 'baby curls' on the back of your head {just like your daddy :) }

In a few short months and you'll be a toddling around, until then I'm going to enjoy every

snuggly creepy crawling minute!
