We just got back from THE Best Lane Family Vacation yet!!
...and boy did we have FUN!!
We spent the week in Vail, Colorado
{and all of the beautiful little towns around!}

For our first outing we headed to Beaver Creek to check out the
"Blues, Brews and BBQ Music Festival"
{SO many fun things to do!}
Abby and Emma did the 'Bungie Trampolines' at Beaver Creek
{my new favorite mountain town...it was BEAUTIFUL :) }
They both had so much fun, they wanted to do it again...
so they did :)

On Sunday we drove in to Denver!
For lunch we ate at this yummy hole in the wall place "Illegal Petes"
it was SO good!
The girls {minus Jenna} did a little shopping
while the guys {including Ethan} went to a Brewery!
While strolling down 16th Street Mall we came upon this...

The girls {and Mammy} were in HEAVEN!

After the shopping and breweries
we headed to the Rockies baseball game :)

This was the kids and my first time to a major league game,
such a fun time!

On Monday the weather took us all by surprise by snowing...in JUNE :)
...so we decided to hottub in the snow :)
Abby wasn't a fan of 'hot-tubbing in the snow'

The next day we went to Glenwood Springs!
Mammy watched the girls while Jonathan, Katie,
Jenna, Aaron, Ritchie and I went white water rafting
{I wish I had a pic of all of us on the raft... :( }
After FREEZING in the river we decided to
go to the Hot Springs!
We LOVED the warm water!
...especially Ethan, he just laid in Mommy's
arms, completely relaxed :)

On Wednesday we said bye to Baboo and Katie :(
{but only for a couple of days, til we went to see them in FoCo :) }
and went to Lake Dillon to take the girls fishing!

After fishing we stopped at the nearby outlet mall and found
tons of great deals!
{...including my Mothers day gift from Coach...I'm in LOVE :)}

On Thursday we said goodbye to Mammy, Aaron and Jenna.
We decided we would make use of our bikes and bike trailer
...NOT the best idea when you're out of shape, but we had fun
riding to the park, and around the block!
{CAN'T believe my baby boy is ONE!}
Ritchie was so mad at me for thinking we could ride
our bikes to Vail Village {about 2 miles away where we
parked our truck}, after riding around the block after the
park we decided it would be best to walk to the bus
stop and ride into town the smart way...we're wayy to out
of shape for hills pulling kiddos :)
So, we finally made it to Vail Village
{oddly enough, our first time in the actually village, even tho we
were staying there...we couldn't believe we waited so long...}
The Teva Mountain Games were going on!
...watching some crazy mini-canoe tricks...
ate at this fabulous restaurant!

On Friday we drove to Ft. Collins after spending the morning watching
some cool competitions going on at the Teva Mt. Fest!
We ate at a fun pizza place called Beau Jos!
