He's a growing boy...

On Friday night Ritchie and I had a mini-datenight,

well, sort of...sweet baby Ethan joined us!

We went to eat dinner at a new Japanese Steakhouse

in town, Hayashi!

As you can imagine, we dont go out to eat very

often, we usually just do fast-food, like Subway

or Jimmy Johns {SO excited we have a JJ now!}

So, we were excited to try a new restaurant!

The last time we went to a sit-down restaurant

Ethan slept the whole time in his carrier. This time

Ethan joyfully sat up like a big boy in his high-chair!

We sat at a table where they cook your food right in

front of you, Ethan was FASCINATED to say the least!

{especially the volcano fire part :) }

Ethan also enjoyed HALF {yes, I said HALF} of Mommy's

rice...some zucchini, some red potatoes and couple of bites of

meat!

Lookout Daddy, we've got an eater on our hands..and it's only the beginning!

Today Ethan is NINE months old, sniff, I cannot believe how fast

these nine months have flown! We are crazy for this little boy!

We dont know what we would do without your contagious smile

and adorable little laugh!

Some New Things You are doing:

• Pulling up on anything and everything
• Standing there til someone comes along to help you down {you haven't figured that part out yet :) }
• Usually crying because you can't figure out how to get yourself down...
• Crawling like a pro...and FAST!!!
• I can put you down in your room to play, walk to the laundry room and turn around and you are right there behind me, because you always want to have Mommy in sight...and this Mommy is soaking up every minute of our snuggle time!!
• Last Dr's Appointment you weighed 18 lbs!
• You have 2 bottom teeth and have just started to cut the matching top teeth!
• You are enjoying playing in your room with your toys more {your favorite: your dump truck...just like the dump trucks at Daddy's work :) }
• You LOVE your big sisters...they can always make you smile :)
• Emma is STILL trying to get you to say her name, she even spells it for you!
• Abby doesn't really care if you say her name...she just calls you 'Silly Bubba' :)
• You are in-between sizes right now, 6 months stuff is getting too small and 12 months stuff is still a bit big, 6-12 months stuff fits perfectly though!

HAPPY 9 MONTH BIRTHDAY ETHAN!!
